I went to see the film ‘Age of Stupid in Lichfield yesterday evening.

This really is a must see for anyone who is concerned about climate change and oil dependence - or for anyone who questions the seriousness of the crisis we face.

A special thankyou to those people who expressed an interest in forming a community group to tackle carbon emissions and other environmental matters, will be in touch soon!

One of the cheapest and easiest ways of reducing electricity bills and reducing carbon emissions is to replace light bulbs with low energy ones. Asda is currently selling 11 and 20w GE low energy bulbs at a price of £1 for any four - they are normally £1 each.  Each bulb should save around £3.50 during its life so it is well worth investing 25p!

Hi, one of my roles is to act as the local contact for Stafford Area Save Your Energy. I will be at the fete on Saturday with information about the Save your Energy project and will also have information about Transition Town Stafford there too.
